We all want to feel better. None of us wants to go broke.
We connect those who need information, tools and support to those who can provide it. We aspire to empower individuals and heads of families to become and stay healthy, and when necessary, to be value-based consumers of healthcare related products and services. We seek to bring ‘advice from a loved one’; harnessing and sharing the expertise of industry insiders as well as other consumers.
HOW WE HELPThe ChooseWell Community
What is this all about?
ChooseWell was started by a couple old dudes who, after a combined 50+ years of working within the healthcare delivery system, have been frustrated by how poorly consumers have been treated.
Specifically:
- We are missing too many opportunities to stay or get healthy, and to stay out of the healthcare delivery system altogether.
- When we consume healthcare related products and services, we often don’t understand our alternatives, and we don’t have access to information about price or quality. This often leads to anxiety, waste, overspending, and a compromised quality of life.
- Information, tools, and other’s experiences can help us with the problems above, but they’re highly fragmented and difficult to assemble at the right time and place.
So we decided to start a Community. We seek to bring ‘advice from a loved one’; harnessing the crowd sourced expertise of industry insiders (physicians, health insurance experts, payment/billing experts, lawyers, and others) and the public in general to provide education on the options available as though they were advising a close family member – completely and exclusively aligned with the interests of the individual and family.
By doing so, we intend on tapping into the ‘network effect’ to accelerate the growth of a knowledge economy for healthcare consumers that allows each member to optimize their quality of life and control their out of pocket expenses.
We coach, support, educate, and empower. We illuminate options you may not have known you had. But we don’t decide what’s right for you in your unique circumstances; only you can do that. And we don’t provide medical, financial, or legal advice; nor do we replace the valuable counsel of those who do.
Is the ChooseWell Community a good fit for You?
Well, that depends …

Testimonials
I had become increasingly weak; my energy was so low that I could barely make it through a regular day and I had aches and pains of some sort all of the time. The debilitating effect of the weakness and fatigue lead to depression because I could no longer do the things I wanted to do.

Because I am fortunate to be generally healthy, I was largely unfamiliar with the medical industry, and [when I needed care] I was nervous about whether an avoidable misstep during the insurance process would ultimately cost me hundreds or thousands of dollars. If there were something I could do to minimize the financial cost, how would I even know?
